        My loctician was professional and courteous. I arrived an hour early because I wasn't sure I booked my appointment correctly (my 1st visit). She took me 45 minutes early, educated me on the proper way to care for my hair. Because of the texture of my hair, I'll be going back to get interlocks. Very happy with the service.

        Semi good Stylist if you choose Danielle. But make sure your Hair is THICK and no hair issues. I got an install March 2022 and by June 2022 it wasn't good anymore. I kept maintenance and paid 1x monthly for $ 100 retwist after installs but there is NO refund and additional charges for fixing the hair inaddition to the $1,000k of install. I ended up going to Nappstar in NYC and just started over. I think locs are for Thicker type texture hair! The owner also blocked me on social media and didn't try to fix the issue! Don't waste 1k on this service 2024 Update would not recommend ultimate waste of money

        Did my Locs on my hair and I loved them, I literally feel in love. Customer service was great and she even bought me lunch. My hair wasnt long enough and Danny was still able to grip it and do my Locs. So professional and a great spirit. Unfortunately I went to another stylist to get them retwisted and what ever the other stylist did my Locs began to fall out. Im currently growing my hair out now in order to get my Locs back!!!         I am an Employee at The Loc Bar going on 2years! I'm a Braider without a license and not once in the time I've worked her had and issue with anything....Danielle has great communication very up front and the 4 of us that are there currently are a sisterhood forsure! Since I've worked here we have a weekly cleaning person ! We have uv cleaning machines and Quatz.AND WE ALL HAVE A LOAD OF SUPPLIES AT OUR STATION NEVER HAVING TO RE USE THE SAME COMBS OR CLIPS IN THE SAME DAY! SO IM SORRY YALL HAD TO HEAR TO NON SENSE OF SOME PEOPLE!

      First your hair was completed in March in which you posted a review and now you're here again. You we're blocked from my social media after I responded and addressed your issue. Eventually you will need my services again which is why you're blocked. You added more to your review saying the hair wasn't human hair but I posted the coloring process via IG. Again I don't tolerate dishonesty so there's no need to associate.Same reply I gave is below."Hi, please be 100% honest when posting reviews.During your installation, I recommended you skip the installation and grow your hair in more. You opted against my recommendation because you really wanted the locs installed. Your hair was patchy and you told me it's been that way for years so it probably won't grow in.The hair you chose for installation was my new bohemian human hair extensions which I explained doesn't match your texture. I offered my original afro texture locs and you declined. I tried to help you but you wanted what you wanted.You don't qualify for a refund as you decided to move forward after my recommendation. You completed one follow up appointment then never returned. Follow up appointments are imperative especially with your locs and hair issue. Unfortunately, going somewhere else will not fix the bottom issue but we wish you the best!
