Ethics in business: A+!  The guy returned my call for a bid request.  He asked when I needed my job completed.  It didn't fit in his near open schedule and was honest enough to tell me that.  Nice.  Next he said he would recommend a contractor to call who would do a good job.  Thing is, people like him hang out with people like him.  It's no wonder why guys like this are booked solid forever when other contractors are engaging in shady practices out of desperation.  There is hope!

I highly recommend DK Iron!!!! I'd like to start off with stating that our house had been broken into twice in one week. The gates I had replaced were once old rustic wood doors that the thieves had broken through to get onto the property. We wanted to get iron gates to not have to keep replacing wood ones. I use Yelp for all my household needs and contacted at least 7 iron companies. A few that I got ahold of couldn't even come out for a quote for almost two weeks. The others just didn't call me back for a few days. I called Walt and explained our situation and he was able to come over in the same day. He took the time needed to explain all of my options and there was no pressure to choose the more expensive options. I was able to look at pictures on Yelp and his FB page to help me make the right decision for our house. He gave me a quote within 24 hours and based on my amazing experience thus far with him we knew there was no need to look any further. The install was so quick! Walt and his crew were so friendly and professional. They left everything as clean as when they arrived and even hauled my old doors out for me!  To top it all off Walt left touch up paint for me just in case we needed it and there's a 1 year warranty! I can't say enough about this company I'm already trying to think of what I can use them again for on other properties we have! Just an FYI: I texted Walt photos of our gates just in case he felt like it wouldn't be something he could do, I didn't want to waste anyone's time ( you can do that to the phone number in the business card pic I've provided or email him as well). So if your unsure of the job just do that first!

I am so happy we chose DK Iron to fabricate our beautiful gates! Wally & Kris have been a pleasure to work with on this project that has exceeded our expectations. Our decision to get new gates had to be made suddenly after we adopted a 3 year old husky who can jump like Michael Jordan. Wally was right on time to our scheduled appt. which got my first "like", brought along a number of photos to show his work, and listened well & helped me visualize what I wanted. We discussed options & cost & I don't know what I was expecting, but I felt the quote was very fair. After that first meeting & a quick call to my hubby the decision to move forward was easy. Then the guys got to work. It may have even been that same day that they came back to take the measurements they needed - so fast!It is now just 1 week later & we have the most gorgeous gates installed on the front of our home. They are truly works of art! We have peace of mind knowing that our dogs are safe & have added value to our home with this project.Timely, fair, great craftsmanship & great to work with.
