My daughter is in Ms.Miranda's class and she absolutely loves it! Everyone here is so kind and professional. Sequoia elementary is located in such a small family atmosphere where everyone waves and smiles. The principle is engaged with students and their families which makes it easy to always know whats going on with school schedules and events. Ive gotta say, since our daughter started school here, its hard for us to ever relocate anywhere  because she's adjusting so well. Thank you staff members at Sequoia Elementary for being so friendly and caring!

I love this school! It has a great principal, great pta president and loving teachers. Not everything is perfect but it's really a great school. I'm very happy to have my son there.

I am happy with this school.  The teachers that we have had are hardworking and communicative.  I appreciate the work the yard duties do and also the after school program as well.  I am thankful.

Not accurate??? Well we been in constant contact with Mary Hardin young. There was mold. And they tried to cover there butts. You tell me why those classrooms aren't occupied then??  Call my lawyer?? Thanks to legal counsel I won't be reviewing or leaving yelp blah blah!!

So far so good.  This is our first year at Sequoia and my son started a bit behind because he was coming from a language immersion program at his other school (which was rigorous.)  His teacher, Mrs. Doyle was so great and so patient with him.  He has caught up with his grade level and even said he didn't want to leave Mrs. Doyle's class to go to 2nd grade without her.  We will all miss her next year!  The things I love about this school are various.  They treat the young kids like little minds AND little explorers.  They understand that kids this age have loads of energy and work with that energy rather than counting it against them.  There are plenty of opportunities throughout the day for the kids to get active and satisfy their need to be social as well.  Another great asset is how they hold the kids responsible for their behavior and work with the parents as partners in staying "on green".  We will attend Sequoia next year and I may even join the PTA!
