AO Electric

Stop! Do NOT use this company! Long story, short, my house was recently in escrow and a home inspector found numerous issues with the work performed by AO Electric. I spent 30k for a new panel and rewire, so was shocked when I read the report. Some of the issues found include: no AFCIs in the panel, gas was not bonded, GFCIs in the kitchen werent wired properly, there was no surge protection device, the GFCIs in the garage werent grounded, etc. Also, they NEVER had the work permitted! Their supposed warranty does not mean anything if they never respond to your emails or calls. AO Electric put my familys safety at risk, including my young son, almost sunk the sale of my home, and cost me an additional 7k to have an another company fix their mistakes. Ive reported this company to the Contractors State License Board. I encourage you to report this company if your experience is similar to mine. If you are thinking about using this company, Dont! Update. Don't fall for the post from Kaylee asking if she can make things right. I have called and emailed AO Eletric numerous times and they have never responded. Update, March 8, 2024: AO Electric did not show up for small claims court yesterday (Suprise). The service document that I submitted was accepted, so I was able to present my case to the judge, who ruled in my favor in the amount of 7,176.08. The judgement becomes final in 30 days. Also, the CSLB considers this company to be Unlicensed. It appears Kaylee is using a family member's license from a company in the Bay Area, she is not on the license. The CSLB has sent my case to the DA.

Kaylee was excellent to work with. She expertly diagnosed the problem and cost to repair, and was forthright about portions of the work that could not be scoped or costed in the initial phase. I give her my highest recommendation!

Kaylee is one of the best people to work with. She takes her time to explain everything, super patient with us and her crew did a fantastic job on our electrical issues. These guys are super nice and courteous and easy to work with. I'm very happy with the work that was done. We would definitely use them again. Our home project was a big one and they tackled the issues very professional. We are extremely happy. Thank You!

They came out in a timely manner, reviewed the issue and got me taken care of quickly. Thankfully my problem wasn't a larger one but their service was professional and reasonable.
