Diamante Montessori School of Sacramento

My review has been long overdue.  I enrolled my son in this school a few years ago, he is now in second grade.  This school is absolutely wonderful in various ways.  The teachers are amazing, caring and nurturing.  Ms. Dilani is incredibly kind and very communicative with any questions or concerns.  Her staff has always been very well trained and all took very good care of our son.  They actually were the ones who helped potty train our son at 2 1/2 years old and it was miraculous!  He was on his own after a week with only one accident at home and the rest was history.  We've always felt our son was in good hands and safe here at Diamanté.  It took me so long to write this review because now we are planning on enrolling our second child here as soon as he is 2 1/2.  My son excelled even more as soon as he got to kindergarten.  Now in second grade and enrolled in the GATE program.  I honestly give Diamanté the credit for preparing him well.  They teach the Montessori way, but also instill discipline which I firmly believe in.  Every morning, as soon as I dropped my son off, I remember the smell of the cooking (all meals are cooked with love from scratch) and the morning smiles from both Ms. Mary and Ms. Dilani, and my son running into the classroom with excitement.  Bottom line, don't hesitate enrolling your child here, it's like a home away from home and I can assure you that your child will excel once he or she graduates from this school.

Our daughter just moved on to transitional kindergarten from here and we are so pleased with the school. Miss Delani, Miss Mary and Miss Moontaha are great and our daughter loved them. Through the pandemic they were great and I would recommend this school to anyone.

I can not stress the amount of effort the teacher do everyday. This is super AMAZING and has helped my son develop his skills and abilities. If you are looking for a great school, look no further.

I put my son there for one month. That was almost a year ago and I still check regularly if anyone has reported on this place. Until now I don't know how I let my now 3 year old son stay there. Miss Delaney is all about money. No care for the kids at all. On the first day she just wanted me to hand him over her not allowing even a proper good buy. I ask to let him in just so he wouldn't feel I just damped him on the fist day with complete strangers- something miss Delaney could not understand. Eventually she let me in. She let my son seat in a table with other kids - not even introducing him or the other class. Just as if he was a puppet. I asked to let my son know the name of the other kids and teacher, just a basic introduction. She brushed me off. I asked 3 times and then she did me a favor- half laughing half being mad and introduce my son to the other kids and teachers. She also struggled with knowing all the kids names.. When I was picking him up they couldn't tell me if he slept or East and very day seems to be annoyed ny me even asking. They just said- the usual slept some eat some , and close the door on my face. When I asked how is he socially one of the teachers that was with him for a month said she is a very good girl! A girl. She didn't know he is a boy. When I said he is a boy she said she's not the one changing diapers... After that day I didn't bring him anymore. No one asked why. Miss Delaney was only talking to me about payments - nothing else. She did not like any attempt of me asking about my kid . She mainly got back to me with payment related issues. Till this day I'm afar aid he might have suffered a neglect. Maybe worse I don't know. What I do know is that no parent should ever put his kid in this cold horrible place.

It just crossed my desk that Diamante has been awarded YELP's 5 STAR "People love us on YELP" award, given ONLY to the most highly rated and best reviewed businesses on YELP.  It couldn't have been given to a better, more caring and useful childcare program in this area.   My wife and I have nothing but praise for the love and attention you give all the children all the time.  From cooking from scratch to teaching manners and providing information, Diamante excels in all areas.  I am most pleased for you and the staff.  It's a reward richly deserved by all of you.  You are a true diamond treasure in the Sacramento Valley.   lucas hess
