I love this dojo! I began with Bedwell's Karate when I was new to the area, I've trained martial arts before but Bedwell's Karate quickly became my second home. Renshi Mike has an emphasis on teaching honor, respect, and self discipline. I highly recommend this dojo for all ages, kids, teens, and adults. No one is too young or too old to start martial arts! Renshi Mike is an excellent instructor, he makes the learning environment work for all age groups and abilities. Bedwell's is more than just martial arts, it's a real hands on experience and self defense skills. Bedwell's also has kobudo (weapons) if that is something you'd have an interest in learning.
Renshi Mike has been a role model for me and I will forever be grateful for the impact he has made in my life. Renshi Mike is encouraging and the experience you will get being at his dojo will last you a life time!

The dojo is a second family for my daughter. My daughter not only benefits from learning a martial art, she is a part of a second family that nurtures her by giving her self-confidence, discipline and respect for herself and others. Renshi Mike Bedwell is kind, funny, extremely experienced and an exceptional teacher. No matter what your age or experience level you will thrive at this dojo. I recommend Bedwell's Karate to anyone who is interested in martial arts. You'll love it!
