Love how easy it was to find & plenty of parking. the venue was great- the staff were so polite & helpful and the food (a taco buffet) was surprisingly good It was pouring rain so we didn't see much of the grounds, what we did see was strong lines & bold timbers with stunning stone features +fountains & firepits making the events center had a lovely choice for the Sierras

The staff was ok. Wasnt rude but just seemed unhappy. I just finished staying here. Booked two nights, checked out a night early. Worst hotel Ive been in and Ive stayed at the Heritage Inn the first room they put me in had the smoke alarm ripped off the ceiling and wasnt even in the room. It reeked of cigarettes and at some point it just made my nose burn and couldnt take it. The front desk switched me rooms, which didnt reek of cigarettes and make me gag like the first one, but the smoke alarm was was again ripped off of the ceiling. Remote to TV was dead. Rocklin is a nice nice NICE town but I felt like I was staying at a motel in San Jose. They can upkeep the room much better I wanna talk about the positive but the lock to my patio door was stuck locked and no matter what I did I couldnt open it. Tried between 3 different people so I couldnt step outside. Horrible place, but Ill keep faith in yall

During our stay, our key cards to our room stopped working three times in two days. We had to go to the front desk each time to have them re-key the cards. The floors are hardwood, which Id expected to be clean, yet after 10 minutes of unpacking with no shoes on, my socks were practically black from the dirt in the floor. The pool & spa were closed for maintenance, which would have been good to know BEFORE choosing this place in my search of pool & hot tub included hotels. I decided to take a hot bath instead and was greeted with hair in the bathtub, and a stained shower curtain with no liner - the floor was flooded after every shower. The shower head was more like a hose. We called the front desk for some more towels, and no one came with them after an hour. By then, wed left and came back. Still no towels. We went up front to ask for them, and the lady said Good luck! before presenting the last two towels. There was no microwave in the Deluxe King room, which was a huge disappointment. I could go on about the poor and unprofessional demeanor of the staff that I encountered, but Ill end this here. I truly wish I would have gotten a refund and stayed somewhere else.
