I recently went to this salon. Very professional and nice staff.
Easy parking nice historic building that has all the modern facilities. Great service.

If you like having a decent hairstyle AVOID THIS PLACE. The hair stylist who cut my hair supposedly had two and a half years of experience and still managed to have my hair be two different lengths at each side of my head by the end of the haircut and had the audacity to ask me if I thought anything was wrong with my hair; My hair looks so bad that I'd rather get a buzz cut and grow it back out over the course of several months than keep this hair for a couple weeks.
And as a side note, I tried my best to get the haircut I wanted. I did my research to figure out exactly what to say to a hairstylist in order to get my hair to look the way that I want. I showed pictures, I asked for layers and I didn't even get a hair cut that even remotely resembled the picture that I was going for.
If you ever think about going into salon pennae, save yourself upwards of 30 bucks and just go to a great clips

Hi Xander, I was not your stylist but I am the owner and would be happy to redue your haircut for FREE . BUT your stylist did ask you several times if you were happy YOU picked an asymmetrical pompadour and if there was anything she can do to complete your request YOU said no it's perfect!! I believe you were the one that had lack of communication with her. Here at Salon Pennae we work hard to please our clients and take pride in what we do.

Pennae has been my go-to for many many years. I'm like a stalker, I will follow her from one salon to another (her own salon) now, to get my hair done. I suppose if I had to drive 2 hrs I would. She is professional, caring, the best hair stylist I have ever had!!! She has a peaceful and serene atmosphere. She is always friendly and warm and I now consider her one of my friends. Pennae is talented and consistent!! Hard to find these days!! xo
