I highly recommend an early evening hike. We started up the trail at approx 7 pm. It was perfect! Enough daylight to see the sights and the view at the top is phenomenal when its dark. Enjoy!!

Beautiful scenery. Went here on an early Thursday morning before work. I started it before 5am and there were already people leaving the site. Walking from the park to the entry point of Mt. Rubidoux is a good warmup. Gonna need it to trek whatever trail you take. I took the shortest route (almost 3 miles). Seems like there were maybe 2 or 3 different trails. They all connect at the junction point that leads to top where the cross & flag sit. Good spot for a quick workout. Cleared it in an hour and a half.

Wonderful place to hike with family. Nice paved trails, nice rest stops with benches, and perfect view of city. I would not bring youth younger than 5yo as the elevation will quickly tire one out and also with the steepness of the trail 24/7 supervision would be requires without a stroller. Overall, great location and area for a hike; will visit again.
