Now that student services is run like a dmv, the staff here acts the part. Definitely not a welcoming environment for students looking to get help.

The people who work up stairs are usually nicer buuuuuttttt, the bottom floor people who are there to help out confused college students that just need help with their endeavors are the issue. That being said the financial aid employees seem to like to belittle the students who go for help to them. I went to find out how I could get a job at rcc and when i was called to the counter I was met with a women that seemed less than even interested in giving me the time of her day. she gave me the most basic answers circling boxes and mumbling words on the paper she told me to get quickly not really being detailed by any means. I had to go another day and I was met with another lady with the same attitude. I don't know who trained these individuals but I can't rap my head around why they need to be rude to students who just need help. I've had friends say the same thing regarding the way they were treated so I know i'm not alone. change staff or train them better!!!! we just want help, we don't need attitude!!
