I would not recommend this place at all!! If you are a business owner with some complexity don’t go here…This office really didn’t even try to find ways to find us tax savings. They didn’t take advantage of quite a lot that we were eligible for. We really felt like we were put on the back burner with these guys. They do bookkeeping and say you need to get it but then they know nothing about what plan they need etc. I got the highest tier plan at their advice and come to find out it wasn’t even needed. Granted I wanted to try and help with it and they said nothing, no advice like, hey it’s a little complicated in using quick books leave it to us which is what my Current accountant DVBE financial offered from the get go. The bookeeper went months without so much as touching on the bookkeeping. All in all they were such a waste of time and money we had to amend our taxes. We really needed someone to guide as we had grown so much in the last couple of years without a solid system in place and these guys had no time for us at all when it came to that. If you want H&R Block quality i.e. basic tax prep work then maybe these guys are for you, but otherwise don’t waste your time even considering them!!

At first, the initial consultation was wonderful and pleasant, But when it got to the work the outcome was a disappointment. We were not offered the advice we needed according to our business. We missed out on so many things we could have used, I feel we wasted so much time and money on these people who dio really have our back. Their payroll department was OK (even though when Covid hit they would not notify us about new deadlines and benefits we could have obtained when we needed them the most). The bookkeeping was a nightmare. And she seemed bother half the time we contacted her for questions. She didn't handle any thing that had to do with her job or what we thought her job was, communication was very limited and the whole approach was disappointing. We were in the midst of purchasing a home and due to our complex income structure and lack of support on the bookkeeping the entire mortgage loan process situation turned into a headache. I personally would not recommend this place to anyone who has a business, they honestly do not know what they're doing.

Do NOT go to these people, they make mistakes then refuse to correct them. They did our payroll and made a mistake on filing one of our quarterly's. They refuse to correct and pay the penalty for their mistake leaving it for me to pay. Very unprofessional people.

My husband and I got our taxes done here by the lovely Melissa. She was awesome, very knowledgeable and patient. (We had our 8 year old with us and she couldn't sit still! Lol) I recommend anyone needing your taxes done to go see Melissa!!

Leivas Associates was our Booking Firm for many years. They handled all our needs and the staff was wonderful. I highly recommend them.
