A year and a half ago, my brother was charged with premeditated attempted murder, burglary and assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injury. Having no experience with the criminal justice system, my family and I thought this would easily be excused as self defense. We hired another lawyer, from LA, and expected to be done with this traumatic experience in short order. We were so wrong! After realizing our counsel was not privy to how different things work in Riverside County (i.e. An agressive district attorney's office), we decided to part ways.
