I have used RPB in both a professional and personal capacity and recommend them highly.  Professionally, I had used several other CPA firms over the years, but RPB is at the top of my list.  I worked with JP at RPB for many years and have the utmost respect for him.  Another reviewer commented that RPB wants the books reconciled before sending them to RPB.  That was how we managed to keep costs low.  I had a standing agreement with JP that I would provide him with reconciled balance sheet accounts and we would stay within the engagement for the year end compilation.  I provided detailed YTD GL printouts to support all balance sheet accounts.  He would adjust the tax accounts and retained earnings, but I was responsible for booking any AJE's and making sure that everything tied after the AJEs were booked.  He was always available to assist if I got stuck on anything, but it was clearly understood that there was an additional charge for his accounting services.On the personal side, I have worked with Fernando for years.  He is equally as fantastic as JP.  When I email him, he responds almost as quickly as I can hit the send button.  If he doesn't, I know that I'm emailing him close to a filing deadline, but that he will respond just as soon as he can.Another benefit to RPB is that if you have an ESOP Plan, they work hand in hand with their ESOP adminstrators.  I'm not sure if the two companies are  still affiliated, but they know each other and share information to provide the best service to their clients.  If there's a question that effects both corporate accounting and ESOP trust accounting, they work together to resolve it.I also must comment on Marcus Piquet.  When I was interviewing CPA firms for our company, he came highly recommended and drove down from Riverside to meet with us in San Diego.  His knowledge of both accounting and ESOP administration was the perfect fit for our company.  I found him to be someone of utmost honesty and integrity.
