Cant emphasize how much we appreciate Milo rescuing our dogs from various Central Valley shelters. It convinced us to foster and volunteer since it truly takes a village. Love this organization.

I adopted a beautiful cat from them and love her so much, but sadly I would not recommend this place to anyone. This place feels off, as some other reviewers mentioned. Most of animals they sell are found in the Bakersfield area (strays) and they bring them to this location to sell. Puppies are close to $600-800 and I purchased my 2 yr old cat for $188. I only learned that my cat was a stray from that area because a staff member mentioned it during my purchase because her medical history was short. During my visit: I walked in and was immediately struck with a thick smell of urine and feces, overwhelmingly so. Sometime after there was a woman that came in with a puppy, upset, and said she had to nurse the puppy back to health shortly after adopting and wanted a refund. She was not given a refund, just a bit of attitude, and was told that because the person in charge of giving refunds was not present she could not have a refund until the next day. She left very upset, and without the puppy. After spending a bit of time with the cat I wanted to adopt I wanted to ask the staff some info about her. She was not spayed and so this is something that concerned me. I just wanted to know if she would have a change in temperament after getting the procedure done. I had no clue, and instead of pulling out my phone to google it I decided to approach the staff member at her desk (Spanish brunette) and It was like I was asking her an idiotic question, lol. Just attitude for any and everyone that day! I also took my cat to a vet for a complete wellness check. We found out she has tapeworm but otherwise very healthy. Wish they would have sampled her stools to make sure she was alright before allowing an adoption. Hope this helps someone!
