        They used to be able to make a decent pineapple bun (bolo bao) but not anymore. Extremely bland. Their cocktail bun was also off. Nowadays the only traditional pastry worth getting here is the pineapple cake, but not sure for how long.

        This review is for November 2022.  This bakery is inside the Pacific East Mall in Richmond, CA across from 99 Ranch Market.  Service is not up to par here.  The lady working at the cash register was not helpful when I asked her a question.  The breads are pre-packaged which is nice.  Grab a tray and tongs to get what you would like to purchase.  My favorite is the Canaan Toast plain and also the one with almonds.
