I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hurrica, where the staff's attentiveness was warm and unparalleled. The decor was indeed a masterpiece, as every item looks like was carefully selected to give a sense of elegance and comfort. As for the food, each dish was a delightful journey of flavors. Recommendations: Pork Chop, Mahi mahi, and Milk Bread (OMG Yes!). The center piece of the restaurant is the jellyfish tank, it's so captivating!. Who knew jellyfish could be such great dinner companions? All in all, Hurrica is a dining experience not to be missed, especially if you're looking to be entertained by both the food and the underwater wonders. Dietary restrictions: They accommodate your request for vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, gluten-free, etc.

Writing this to give a perspective for this fairly new place right at the marina - being that it is a bit of a trip to get to, and not inexpensive. Have you ever been to a place where you are over-serviced? In the span of 6 minutes, 4 different people dropped by to take our drink orders, after fella #1 had it under control - feels weird to make that observation, but not sure it should be the guests job to let the staff know about the logistics of their own place. That extra attnetion didn't speed up the drinks arrival though, which took about 15min. The menu is very interesting, but unevenly executed. Some dishes were sublime, some were uninspired. For the price, which is comparable to a handful of Michelin starred places along the peninsula, it needs to be better. As higher-end special occassion places go, we're hoping this place gets there as they evolve and improve - we'll give it another try in the future.
