We had a great experience working with Bret. Bret helped us sell our condo in Redwood Shores and buy a townhouse in Foster City. Bret sold our condo in less than 2 weeks from us moving out, which was very important to us. We also got above asking price! His marketing plan worked perfectly. Less than a week after that, we made an offer on a townhouse in Foster City, and got it for below asking! Bret's strong knowledge of the market helped us maximize the value in the condo and get the best price for the townhouse purchase. He is a full-service agent. Prior to the sale of the condo, he coordinated the staging, got me in touch with carpet installers, and even re-did the grout around our kitchen sink himself! Bret came highly recommended by a family member who had used his help selling their place a year ago. To ensure our home was prepared for the market, Bret helped identify areas on which to focus for value-added updates. Since we had moved out of the area prior to listing our home, he helped us with these updates by soliciting bids for the proposed work and overseeing the work to ensure it was done well and within a reasonably quick timeframe given current challenges in supply chain and labor. He even helped to personally replace a shrub when it suddenly died while the home was on market and we were away. During our time working with Bret, market conditions changed quickly with the rapid rise in mortgage rates resulting in a less-favorable market for sellers.
