Roosevelt Wash n Dry

Plenty of machines and hours of operation are good. Great place to do laundry and grab lunch or dinner at neighboring business in lot.

The big washing machine took my 8$. I left with it starting to go through a cycle. I come back and my clothes are dry covered in my detergent. Basically went through a cycle like it normally does except with no water and wasted my detergent on top of that. No one to call to get my money back. Wont be coming back here

I meet the owner his name is Jeff I think I forgot his name but he's a cool dude we talked a long time while he was sweeping  the place and cleaning while I was washing and folding cloths. We both run small businesses and talked about how expensive everything is in California right now !! Any ways I love this place the machines work good and I'm thankful for a laundry mat really close by. I seen the other Yelp review about bleach being in one of the washer machines ? How can we check to make sure there is no bleach in the machines ? Before this happens again? Any ways I love this place all the machines do there jobs

Came to the laundromat today at Roosevelt Plaza to do laundry and when I pulled my blacks out of the machine they had bleach ALL over them! I called the owner to tell her and she came down and handed me $10 to cover my next was and dry and said that is the best she can do... We are talking 100s of dollars worth of clothes that are completely ruined. One of My son's pairs of cookie sweats alone are $110 and the giants sweatshirt was brand new just from the game last night $65, true religion shirts and hoodies, Jordan shirts, our clothes are not cheap. The owner basically told me that I could have poured bleach on them before I got there, accusing me of ruining the clothes on purpose. What a freakin joke. I work so hard to take care of my son and provided him with all of the up to date "hip" clothes and handing me $10 to make this right is an insult. It's not like I expect her to replace all of our clothes, but $10?!? Are you fucking kidding me?!? What a fucking joke! She had zero empathy towards the situation. I'm beyond pissed and extremely frustrated.
