A soft touch! Undoubtedly the closest thing to a "painless dentist" I have ever experienced. I have always hated needles, but Brian has some kind of Zen technique where you barely even feel the needle going in. When we moved across the Bay, my wife wanted us to get another dentist. But after being manhandled by an aggressive dentist in too big a hurry even for a simple thing like getting my teeth cleaned, I had to come crawling back to Brian, even if it meant having to drive a half hour out of my way. If I'm having work done and I so much as flinch a muscle, he automatically eases up a bit. He's just so in tune with your body language it's like almost overdoing it at times. Like sometimes I'll pre anticipate pain that never comes and tense up a bit and he'll be like "You OK there?" and I have to assure him that it's just me over reacting, not him.I remember mentioning that I had read about some new technology that used high pressure water for drilling cavities, since cavities are water soluble and tooth enamel in not. He sounded critical, but by my next visit he had researched it and was now using it. So I felt so vindicated because I had told plenty of old timers about the same thing and they would rather stand there and argue that their medieval methods are not to be improved upon or second guessed.Wish I could take him with me when we move to New Orleans

Dr. Yee was nice enough to give me an examination even though we discovered I was on DHMO insurance plan instead of PPO. Excellent service and experience - highly recommend!

My wife and I have been going here for years.  Dr. Yee is always friendly and professional.  One time I asked him about teeth whitening, and he recommended that I buy the cheaper pharmacy version and not pay for the more expensive dentist-office version!  So this is somebody who is looking out for you!

I have been going to Dr. Yee for 5 years now and my husband has been seeing him longer than that.  Dr. Yee's office is very efficient.  I've never gone into an appointment late and they make handling insurance a breeze!  Dr. Yee handles the entire appointment himself from the examination to the cleaning.  He has a very calm manner and a very gentle touch which prevents it from being one of those 'stressful' dentist visits.  The office is very clean and there is a TV to watch while you're in the dentist chair.  Also, since the office is at Sequoia Station there is never any problem with parking.  Bottom line: I would highly recommend Dr, Yee.

This is the best dentist I've been to in the Bay Area. The office is clean, Dr. Yee is fast, thorough, and professional, and the whole process feels easy. The office is conveniently located right by the redwood city train station.
