This company is the worst tax preparer I have ever worked with. I was referred to Loretta by my colleagues, but unfortunately my experience was nowhere near as good as theirs. In a nutshell - H Tony Yoon, CPA filed my 2021 taxes incorrectly, claiming I owed thousands of dollars to the IRS. I made a few of those payments to the IRS, but then asked Tony to take another look since I have never owed taxes and something seems off (second time I asked him to do this). Months later, he finally realized there was an error and that I never owed taxes for 2021. Instead I was owed a refund for thousands of dollars. It is now August 2023, and I am STILL waiting for the IRS to send me the money I am owed. It's turned into a BIG clusterF, because the IRS took money out of my 2022 tax refund for the taxes I allegedly owed in 2021. And now the IRS owes me additional money, on top of the 2021 refund that I never received, and on top of the 2021 incorrectly-filed-owed-tax payments I made. Considering the terrible headache this created, I asked Tony to negotiate a cheaper rate for the tax preparation, to which he told me there is no room for any reduction. And then when I asked for help locating my refunds, he sent me a sly email saying "As it said "the IRS received your 2021 amended tax returns." Call the number and verify that you are actually "you."" I went with a different tax preparer for my 2022 taxes, who went above and beyond to help me. She even went out of her way to call the IRS to help sort out the issues that Tony created. AND she lives across country in NY. In summation - terrible customer service and terrible tax preparer. I can't speak for Loretta, but Tony was terrible. Waste of time and money.
