    I always love coming here for a quick staycation. The staff is always so sweet. Special shoutout to athena and nicole! I was greeted with champagne and cookies. The marina view was great. Definitely recommend!

    My recent stay at Shade Hotel was outstanding in every aspect. From the warm welcome by Nicole at the front desk to the impeccably clean and spacious room, the experience was exceptional. The hotel's facilities, including the fitness center and dining options, were top-notch. What truly stood out was the exceptional customer service provided by the staff, everyone went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. I highly recommend Shade for a truly extraordinary hospitality experience.

    The Shade was a very beautiful and relaxing hotel. The service at the hotel was extremely friendly(aside for the restaurant "sea level", see my reviews statement for that restaurante! All in all the I would love to come back to this hotel in the future, maybe try out a different location. The best and my most favorite enjoyable moments was in the tub, that was located on our private balcony. The tub is outside people!!! Yeaaasssssss What a great set-up. See pictures I have provided. Enjoy, and good luck!!! Rooms: So beautiful, and the lay out was spacious Safety: We were on the second floor. Lock on doors, Door bell on door and peephole Open spaced not crowed Walkability: Beautiful location, restaurants in walking distance bybthe water

    We originally used Agoda to book a room from 3/4 to 3/6, but when we checked in at the hotel on the night of 3/4, a lady with long hair, dark skin, and a strong build told us that our reservation record could not be found and informed us of the hotel. The room was fully booked, so we immediately contacted Agoda customer service and it took more than an hour to confirm. The hotel canceled our reservation because it was fully booked! ! ! How could it be so abominable! ! They basically bully our guests who book rooms from the booking website! ! And the service attitude of the lady at the counter was terrible! ! They looked down on us at all and made it impossible for us to find a hotel at night! ! Please choose carefully! ! Noteworthy details: Be careful if your reservation is canceled

    The hotel was nice, don't get me wrong. Here are a few things that really turned me off and made me want to warn everyone. 1. We checked in the morning after our reservation started. (we paid for that night so we could check in early.) Without interference from the manager, there were about to make us wait until that day's check in time (3pm) to check in. I do feel I should mention I am revisiting my review now that the final bill is away from my face. Upon explaining that we didn't check in since I got married the night before and wanted to spend some more time with my family, they provided us with a complimentary bottle of champagne as a congratulations for getting married, which was nice. That said, again, the manager was the only reason we were checked into the room we paid for. The person at the front desk reassured us that we wouldn't be checked in until 3pm. We got lucky in that, yes, we only waited about 10 min to be checked in 2. We were explained that the amenity inclusion charge of $34 was for spending money on the amenities of the hotel. When we used the amenities thinking it was a credit, of sorts, we were surprised to find that not only were we charged for the inclusion fee + the amenity we used but only $10 were deducted. This was explained to us incorrectly and no effort was made to rectify their error. Also isn't that a bit cash grabby? Here's a charge to use our amenities that you're paying for anyway. So if you want to have a stay at a nice hotel, go for it, it's a really nice hotel. Some of the staff are easy to deal with. Just be warned the final bill might upset you which really sour'd the experience for us.
