We were getting an estimate done for some new siding on the house. At first the representative was friendly, but at the end he got very pushy. He asked if he could see how much of a loan we could qualify for, and we agreed to that, but he went ahead and actually opened the account, which we had NOT agreed to. We ultimately got the project done for a fraction of the price from someone else.

Had an estimate done by Semper Fi, after telling them I choose to go with someone else - I was put under a lot of pressure of "why didn't I choose them" "who did I choose" "how much are they charging" - the conversation turned from nice to nasty. The fact is....once they were told no, they should have left it at that...frankly, it's none of their business who I choose and for what reason. I have no idea if they do a good job, but they were much much more than I wanted to pay!
