The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage

In town for a corporate event. Was very impressed the entire trip. At every meal and reception we had a resort representative present for the entire duration to make sure there were no issues. The food was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive. Everyone went above and beyond. Very impressed.

Beautiful grounds in a peaceful location with views and hiking. The rooms were ok visually, not super fancy, and the toilet paper was terrible. The rooms werent very quiet, as you could hear everything in the hallways. We did have a beautiful outside patio with couches and a fire pit, which they didnt turn on every night, most likely due to high winds. I enjoyed that they set up lawn games on some of the afternoons. The lobby was beautiful and very welcoming and high end.

Was going to book here until I saw the garbage $50 nightly "resort fee" hidden the the summary of charges, then researched to find the fee pays for, among other nonsense, internet.
