I've known Eric for about 13 years now and by far he is not only a trustworthy attorney but a very good one. Run away. As someone who has the unfortunate experience of being repsented by Eric Chung, I feel compelled to warn others of the sheer incompetence and unethical behavior that defines his practice. Eric Chung is not an advocate for his clients. He is self-centered with aspirations of political gain in the community. He has plenty of time to schmooze as a school board representative, but no time to follow up on his actual cases. He will miss deadlines, lie to you, use empty rhetoric, and forget to file important documents. He has poor communication and follow through and can not be trusted to even complete the most basic tasks like responding to opposing counsel or discussing options with his clients. I have filed a board complaint and will be following up with a malpractice claim. You want someone on top of your case. Eric Chung is the opposite of that. He should not be an attorney, and I recommend you do your homework before hiring him as my experience was a nightmare.
