Ms. Buchanan, I appreciate your review because I actually believe it highlights the strengths of All American Law. Before I get to that, I would like to address a few things you have stated while keeping in mind that I am limited in what I can say due to attorney-client privilege. 1) This office did not represent you for the entire duration of your 2.5 year court proceeding. Our representation ended about eight months ago. I cannot speak to whatever delays you may have experienced in your case over the last eight months but it is misleading to the public to imply that this office represented you when it did not. 2) It is simply not true that you paid this firm $10,000.00. The true amount was far less than that. You should know this from the bi-monthly billing statements that we provided and that you have never disputed.  3) You recently contacted my office seeking to re-retain our services, so I struggle to understand how you appear so disappointed with our representation in the past. Only after we declined to represent you again did you immediately post this review. I suspect that our decision not to represent you (as opposed to how we performed when we did) is what motivated you to post this review. Again, this does not help others on this site in their decision whether to hire this office for their own cases. Now to address some other points you made so that the public will better understand the kind of representation they will receive if we were to represent them: All American Law is not a one man show. We are fully staffed with three attorneys, four paralegals, and two administrative assistants. Our attorneys are often in court, but even then if you call us needing immediate assistance you will reach a live person, in the office, ready and available to assist you. We do not use an answering service or automated system. Your urgent matters will receive prompt attention. This also means that when you need assistance but not necessarily the assistance of an attorney, this office can help without charging you at the hourly rate of an attorney. Similarly, you may be better served hiring a different firm if you prefer a lawyer who will call you into the office to chat about things that do not immediately impact your case. That accomplishes little more than to unnecessarily inflate your bill. We do not do that to our clients. Our attorneys will call you when it is necessary for you to be billed at attorney rates. Of course you can set up an appointment to meet with our attorneys if you wish, but we prefer to make your retainer last as long as possible. This former client mentions the case management program our office uses (MyCase) as if it is a flaw when it is actually a very powerful tool for our clients. It provides you access to a personal client portal where you have your entire case file available at your fingertips. You can view your billing statements, events calendar, and documents. You can comment on documents and even send text messages to us for your convenience. Reminders about court hearings and office visits are available. Of course, use of this program is optional. Most clients are thrilled about being able to stay informed about their case in this way, but if a client requests otherwise we are happy to provide case information according to your preferred method such as email, mail, and even fax. Ms. Buchanan, I am sorry that we were not able to represent you again in your case. I wish you the best with your case moving forward and hope that your future counsel will better align with your expectations. - Christine James
