I've lived here for a few months now and I would honestly never recommend it to anyone. Apartment manager is highly unresponsive and almost non-existent. From faulty sinks, outlets, and garbage disposables to water shut offs and elevators that actually don't work sometimes, I've had nothing but issues here. If you are a student at WesternU it is nice that you are so close but prepare to encounter problems. No longer just student housing and people really don't care so there is always noise

On top of a recent rent increase, the Helix leaves much to be desired. They'll do frequent water shut offs with next to no communication on when or for how long. The elevators constantly smell of rubber or some other fumes. The laundry room is less than ideal. While arranging our walk through inspection we waited for an hour with no communication that the manager, Jessica, was not going to make it. We then emailed her the next day again and she just states she's heading over there now. We have already moved out and don't live nearby so obviously no one is going to be present. We then drive there as soon as we can and she proceeds to make us wait until she finishes her lunch because no one was in the apartment when she went by, making us wait another hour and a half only to not show up and leave her office. Overall, extremely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Patty will not return your security deposit no matter how clean you leave it. So save yourself the time and effort.
