Budget Car Rental

Terrible experience and incompetent customer service! I had scheduled a noon pickup for Veteran's day weekend. Once placed, I received a confirmation email stating the location would be open from 7:30-4. On pickup day, I showed up at 12:06, and found the location closed, with a handwritten note in the door stating they closed early at noon. No email to indicate this, no call to indicate this; nothing. I couldn't even go to another location without opening and paying for a second rental, because they had already opened my contract. After an hour on the phone and no less than 6 separate calls to CS, they finally agreed to give me a two day credit on my three day rental. After waiting 8 days for them to actually apply the credit, they didn't even bother to apply the correct refund amount. I had to call CS once again to get the correct refund. All of this could have easily been avoided with a simple call or email the day of to warn me that they would be closing early.

Save yourself time and energy and stay away from this place. Nobody ever answers the phone. Its taking them days to close of a rental of a returned truck. I called customer care every day for the past 4 days and they cant reach anyone at this location either and supposably escalated this to a regional management and still nothing. First and last time Im using budget.
