The Reverse Mortgage Group

I was given a good deal of pertinent information to review which was quite helpful. However, I was NEVER offered a personal meeting with Beth, Cheryl, or anyone else. I believe it might have been quite helpful in my decision-making process. So, I continued to feel leary of this product and declined it. Prompting this review is the Reverse Mortage Group's continued TV commercials stating how very helpful it is to meet personally with Beth. This review is not intended to be negative - just observational.

AVOID! SCAM ALERT.Worst experience of my life.They wasted my time and money.They managed to somehow  delete ALL their NEGATIVE reviews on Google.I sent my first negative review ever on Google.She never called me after I made a phone appointment and waited a week to hear from her.Then, after I called them, they switched me to a person who knew little about Reverse Mortgages. After paperwork was not sent on time, and other problems,  I asked for another appointment with Beth. This time at my house. I waited 5 days and prepared diligently. We were CRYSTAL CLEAR on time and date.She canceled 20 minutes before she was to arrive. Negligence,  incompetence,  unprofessional. Horrible. IT IS a Scam. She does not care.Rates went up a point while they were baiting and switching.Check out all of their 1 star reviews  on yelp.

I guess I could have saved some time and effort had I first looked up the other reviews for this company. Without exception, worst customer service I have ever encountered.  Contacted them about a reverse mortgage and was told by a very congenial young woman that Beth would not be reaching out, but that an associate/partner of hers from Sacramento would. We set an appointment and the agreed upon time came and went. When this person finally reached out much later than agreed, I asked if we could reschedule since I was now at work. She agreed and set a time the next day. Again, time came and went. She reached out THE FOLLOWING DAY and said she was tied up previously. We then set a THIRD appointment and again, NO RESPONSE.  So very disappointing. I can only guess that business must be so good that they can ignore solid applicants. Now I understand why this company PAYS for advertising. NOBODY would give a positive testimonial for them.  I would think that as an owner/operator that you would vet the team you have representing your brand. So Unprofessional.

Completely false review!  Saw ad!  Called and asked for broker!  Put in hold forever.  Person on the phone started to take information.  Asked for home address but not my profession or questions on my income.  Then she said someone will call me to set up an appointment.  Asked her if she was an agent or broker.  She said they were busy.  I do not need appointment to set up appointment.  I needed information. They are a scam!!!
