Shawn McDonald is fantastic! Kassady, Sherry, Kyla, and Ami are so wonderful, friendly, and are willing to help however they can. The best Dr office experience. I can't say enough wonderful things about everyone here.

We just moved to town and couldn't have asked for a more accepting office of people, The staff is so friendly and the doctor is as well. I learned I have a stigmatism 45 years later oops. The office is so adorable.

Dr. Mc Donald was able to get me a prescription that worked when all others failed. The staff is very easy to work with and they go out of their way to help. Thank you.

I've been coming to Dr. McDonald since I was 12, thats 27 years now. The great staff and great atmosphere keep me coming back. You can't lose with Doc McD!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. This was my first trip to an optometrist, and I was impressed from the very beginning. Every member of the staff was pleasant to speak with and very helpful both over the phone and in person. The technician that did the initial exam obviously knew what she was doing and was very professional. She explained each exam and was very efficient in her job. (I apologize for not getting her name). Dr. McDonald impressed me even more. He took the time to explain what each exam was for and what it would show. He then sat with me and explained all the different aspects of my eyes and what the exams told him. In the end I only needed reading glasses. Dr. McDonald did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. He is honest and upfront and spoke in language I could easily understand. I will highly recommend this office to everyone I speak with. We are so lucky to have this office in El Dorado County.
