We understand that at first glance, it might appear that the animals’ living spaces are not as expansive as those in some larger, for-profit zoological parks. However, we assure you that each of our enclosures meets and often exceeds the legal requirements by at least double, and in many cases, triple the space required for each species.As a nonprofit organization, our primary mission is the welfare and conservation of the animals in our care. Unlike for-profit zoos, our resources are significantly more limited, and we rely heavily on donations and volunteer support to maintain and improve our facilities. Every contribution we receive is directed towards enhancing the lives of our animals, including expanding their living environments whenever possible.We are always working on improving our enclosures and continually strive to provide the best possible habitats for our animals within our means.
