Morning Bird Preschool

Our daughter has attended Morning Bird Preschool for the past school year and has loved each and every day. She adores Teacher Kate and is skipping out the door each morning she gets to attend. She always has a joyful story or sweet song to share from the day. You can tell that a lot of time and care has gone into all of the details that make this program so special: the classroom itself, the daily rhythm, the correspondence home to families, the special celebrations. Teacher Kate's intentionality really shines through it all.

Morning Bird Preschool is the best! Kate is an experienced teacher who knows how to treat small children with just the right balance of patience and kindness but also firmness. Its very clear that she knows what shes doing. The daily schedule incorporates a great mix of free play and teacher-facilitated activities. The indoor classroom is superbly outfitted with all kinds of books, wooden toys, and arts and crafts that the kids get to take full advantage of. The outdoor play area is spacious and equipped with a nice variety of equipment theres even a kid-sized wooden fishing boat! My daughter enjoys her time at Morning Bird so much that she doesnt want to leave when I go to pick her up. Morning Bird and Teacher Kate have my highest recommendation!

We feel so fortunate to have found Teacher Kate and Morning Bird Preschool. The preschool is small and warm and feels like an extension of home. Teacher Kate provides such a calm and nurturing environment for the kids and our daughter has truly thrived there. Teacher Kate is a seasoned, highly knowledgeable and caring educator. You can really tell that she is doing her life's work here and that is reflected in the happiness of the students. Because of the smaller size, she is able to get to know each child well. And the children absolutely adore her! We really value her approach to social emotional learning and the care and thoughtfulness that she puts into the school and each child who attends. We are so thankful for Teacher Kate and Morning Bird Preschool!

Morningbird Preschool has truly been the best decision we could have ever made for our 3 year old daughter. We are in complete awe of Teacher Kates compassion and dedication to all of the children. From the moment you meet her you know that this is absolutely her lifes calling: she seamlessly blends together her many years of teaching experience with her passion and philosophy that is authentic to who she is as an educator. She cultivates such a safe, warm and nurturing school environment full of love, joy and creativity. We love how she centers learning around imagination, play, and stories. Our daughter surprises us everyday with what she learns at school - from drawing human faces, writing letters, creating art, reciting stories, sharing with friends, to singing and dancing to new songs - we can tell she loves school so much! Last but certainly not least, Teacher Kate is truly one of the most special people you will ever meet. She has the kindest soul and most beautiful energy. We are SO incredibly thankful for all that she brings - she means the world to our family!

I could easily write a multi-page review, sharing how much we love Morning Bird Preschool! My 3 year old son has been attending Morning Bird since September, 2023, and the experience has been so positive. Teacher Kate really takes the time and makes the effort to get to know and understand each of the children. She is a very intuitive caregiver, role model and such an inspirational teacher. So much thoughtfulness, preparation and care goes into each of her lessons. The kids love their school -- they feel safe, valued and respected. And the classroom space is just delightful -- I personally feel uplifted every time I step into the Morning Bird Classroom! I would HIGHLY recommend this program for your preschooler!
