Gary Vogensen Guitar & Ukulele Lessons

Gary is a wonderful teacher who explains, demonstrates and encourages his students with his vast experience and gentle patience. I can't thank him enough for all that I have learned from him. If I had a young child starting out, there is no one other than Gary that I would entrust with creating a musical foundation and teaching proper technique to that child, based on the joy of music.

I have been bouncing around the music world for a long time, mostly as an onlooker. But I've also been playing guitar and making my own music for over 60 years. Gary is my favorite guitar player. I had the pleasure of working with Gary on innumerable occasions as our lead guitar player and a contributing vocalist, during the years that I performed with my band at the Alvarado Inn, in Ignacio (Novato), during the period of June 1976 through the entire decade of the 1980's. Gary is a preeminent guitarist and multi talented entertainer. Don't pass on the opportunity to enjoy one of his performances should you have the opportunity to see him "live" at one of his frequent bookings throughout the Bay Area and beyond. If you are in the market for a guitar teacher, either for yourself or your children, I could not recommend him more highly. An added bonus is that he is one of the nicest persons you will ever meet. Gary is the best of the best! I studied with him 15 years ago and I still I use the concepts he taught me every day. He has everything to offer to musicians of all levels.
