Hotel Petaluma, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Location is perfect. Lots of places to eat a couple of blocks away. Staff was great. Room was on the small side but we weren't in it much.

Beautiful hotel and amazing staff. We loved the bakery attached to the hotel, their food was incredible. The rooms are small, to be expected with an old hotel, but even then I was surprised at how small it was. We stayed in a queen deluxe room on the corner and had just enough room, not sure how small the standard rooms are, but expect to be cozy. When I made the reservation on Hilton's website it said that parking was complimentary, which generally means there's a lot. When we arrived I called and was informed it's street parking only and the parking immediately in front of the hotel has a time limit of 2 hours between 8a-4pm every day except Sunday. Not the end of the world, but for someone with mobility issues, having to hike up the hill to parking would have been difficult. Other than that, can't say enough for how friendly the staff was and how cool the hotel was. Would definitely come and stay again in the future

We stayed here for three nights during a long weekend getaway. I gave the room 4/5 stars. It was a nice room, but it was small. We had a queen deluxe room and I'm not sure what a standard room is like, but if it's smaller, I'm not sure it would have been enough room for two adults. The bathroom was really nice. The bed was really comfortable. The blackout shades and shudders in the room were great. We only had one desk and one nightstand and it seemed like we were constantly trying to clear a space to set things down. It seemed like it was lacking a piece of furniture. Even a stool on the other side of the bed would have been nice. I wanted somewhere to set my water at night. The staff gets 5/5 stars. They were so friendly and incredible with making recommendations. One even gave me some tape to pack up my wine before flying back home! The location also gets 5/5 stars. It was really nice being able to walk to dinner every night. There's a lot to see and do all within a few blocks of the hotel. One inconvenience was parking. The hotel does not have a parking lot and the parking right in front of the hotel has a 2-hour limit (they stop checking after 4 pm), so we had to park on the street a block or two up in a residential area to avoid parking tickets. All in all, the hotel was great. Cons: Small rooms and difficult parking. Pros: Friendly staff, beautiful venue, great location.

Veeeerrrry smalll parking. Parking is in front of building but can throw u off because it has a two hour limit. Definitely ask staff first about the rules because its a daily new Hilton and things can change

Lovely old hotel in downtown Petaluma. Location is terrific. Our room was clean, spacious and lovely and the Bed was very comfortable. This is just not a hotel for older folks or folks w handicap. There is only street parking if you can find it. No valet, no help w luggage. We had to make two trips to car for luggage. Handicap room we requested was not really for handicapped just a regular bathtub with two handicap bars, no walk in shower, no sprayer on shower head. Very dangerous for older folks. As a result we were not able to use. We are in our 80s just not an appropriate hotel for older folks.
