I have worked with Katherine and Sharon and have always had excellent and timely service. When I have a question Katherine provides comprehensive research and allows me to make my own decision. I appreciate that Katherine was willing to help me before I had any real money to invest-I wasn't too small (I had been turned away by other advisors because I didn't have enough to make it worth their time) I do now and Katherine will always be my advisor.

I've just started working with Katherine, but so far it's been a great experience. Not only do I feel that my investments will be handled well, but I am getting help looking at my full financial life plan. I have felt like my goals, such as home renovations, were out of reach or just a bit scary to plan for on my own. With Katherine I feel like I have a partner to help me get there. She's also provided introductions to other professionals so that I can have a team (financial, legal, tax) working together on my behalf. I never feel rushed when I'm meeting with her and there are no stupid questions. I was a little worried about working with an advisor that would lecture me on where I'm at with retirement, but Katherine is super positive and optimistic about starting from where you are at and reassuring you that you can get to where you want to be in a realistic timeframe.

I would give a zero if I could. Tried to close an account and they said the money would be transferred in a few days. Never got it. Week and a half later I emailed them and her front desk lady Sharon said she made a mistake and didnt finalize it and didnt realize what she did. Then on the day I was supposed to receive the money Sharon said she made the decision to not transfer my money yet again for a dividend of $20... she held it without my permission. When I called her about it she was like oh sorry in a non apologetic tone. Every time I spoke to her she spoke to me like a child. I would NOT use this office. I would use either a different Edward Jones rep or a completely different company. Not a good office receptionist. When I emailed Katherine about the situation she didnt even respond. Terrible business!

I once dealt with an Edward Jones financial advisor who admonished me at the beginning of our dealings that I "be nice and also that I never lie" to him. When I later asked him what fees he was charging to handle my account, he gave a nebulous, unsatisfactory politician's answer which meant nothing. He later transferred my account to a junior partner without first consulting me. I went in to meet the junior partner at his office. It was immaculate, as if no work was ever accomplished there, it was just for show. A framed picture of his family and a calender next to his can of pens were the only items on his desk. His office looked to me as nothing more than fake window dressing. He said "It's very good to see you again, John!" I had never before met him in person. I asked the junior partner how much he was charging me for fees on my retirement account, to which he replied "5%". It was obvious that my previous advisor was charging the same but did not want me to know it. This is way too high, abusively high. So I rolled the account over to a discount broker without first consulting the junior partner. He left me a panicked message on my answering machine to which I never responded.
