The best!! I'm so in love with Rio Seco, both the wine (no longer sold, sadly) and the property.  The rentals are also fantastic. You can now find the rentals at KuiperVineyards.com. The rentals are next level in their design and the owner's hospitality.

Fantastic winery. Love the wine, love the ambiance and the house cat is such a great addition. . The rolling hills are beautiful. It would be my dream come true to own this place someday.

Rio Seco was referred to us by another winery as a great Mom & Pop winery with exceptional wine. They accept walk-ins,  and are open on Monday's. We arrived right when they opened, instantly pleasantly greeted by Carol who is one of the original owners. Rio Seco is winery #22 of 320+, they started growing grapes in the 80's when Paso Robles started really becoming a vineyard area. Love the history she took the time to share. I had no idea that the vineyards are that recent to California in this area. $10 tasting fee waived with the purchase of a bottle. We loved the MVP Reserve, it's a red blend with same percentages as isosceles by another well known winery.  They were having a Monday sale on their cases of Syrah, we purchased a case for client gifts and Carol even gifted Steve with a second bottle of MVP Reserve for his birthday. Too sweet, thank you! Great place to enjoy some good wine by #22! The MLB theme of their wines are homage to Carol's late husband who was an MLB scout. Thank you so much for your warm introduction to your wine and history. Hope to come back soon.

EXCELLENT!!! All the wines were on point. We're used to wines from mainly the Sonoma area - it was refreshing not only tasting great wines made with incredible TLC, but amazing hospitality to boot. Thank you for a most magical experience!
