Meet the owner and his daughter, really nice people. Took their suggestions on what to order, catfish, chicken, greens, black eyed peas and banana pudding. It was delicious!! I will 100% be back next time Im in Paso Robles. If youve never been, stop in you will not be disappointed!

Bumped into this place when looking for a place to eat and parked there without realizing there was a restaurant already next to us. They had just opened so the place was quiet but the cashier was very kind and told us it would be a few minutes longer since everything is fresh to order. Good things do take time after all. We got a large sweet tea to share and got chicken combos. Crispiest, juiciest chicken Ive had in awhile and the seasoning was just as good. They also have every hot sauce possible so I tried at least three Id never heard of. You get beans n rice, super cheesy mac n cheese and the softest buttery cornbread ever. Another man working there took the time to stop by our table and see how we liked the food; he was very kind and told us to recommend to friends so here I am. Please stop by, its so worth it!

Amazing food! The best collard greens Ive ever had and the catfish was perfectly cooked; so moist inside with just the right amount of batter. Pride of ownership shines through in the food and personal service. I highly recommend!

If you are looking for a taste of soul, look no further. Perfectly done Mac and cheese, greens and the fried chicken was amazing. Friendly environment, with enough space to dine in as well.
