I contacted Attorney Michael J. Boyajian's office regarding a tree issue with a neighbor of one of my rental properties in Santa Barbara. Without first attempting to informally resolve the matter with me, the complaining party immediately threatened to sue me.
I contacted Attorney Boyajian due to his over 25 years of real estate experience and an article that I saw on his website concerning "neighbor disputes". Attorney Boyajian personally consulted with me, and immediately evaluated the matter through legal research and a personal inspection of the property.
Attorney Boyajian then proceeded with a letter to the complaining party, well supported with legal authorities in my favor. He then responded in a professional manner to several "unfriendly" letters from the complaining party (who continued his attempts to intimidate me through threats of litigation) while at the same time, continued to monitor the situation and counsel me on simple, inexpensive ways to keep peace with my neighbor.
Mr. Boyajian's overall strategy paid off. For a very reasonable amount of legal fees (and a minimum tree trimming expense), the complaining party is no longer complaining about my tree, and no costly legal action was ever filed against me. Accordingly, I would strongly recommend Attorney Boyajian's services, and give him "5 stars".
