Out of all the areas I've walked around in Paso Robles, this is one of the most racist areas ever. I'm an African American women and all I was doing was walking my lab on our daily walk and saw a path I would like to take. I noticed there was a dog park and thought Id use it for about 10 mins. After a few mins this older white lady comes down with her poodle and stares me down right at the fence. I ask her if she needs help and she tells me I dont belong down here I tell her excuse me then she begins to call me a monkey and tells me to go back to where I came from. I was appalled that someone would even say something like that. I left and ever since Ive just been so disappointed in Paso Robles that they would allow people like this in our community.

I dont understand how this place is still allowed to be running. All the people that live in this community are very discriminatory to anyone of another race. My son and I are Hispanic and we were walking our two chihuahuas. We took a dirt trail right behind oak creek and an older lady came running down the hill screaming profanities at me and my son. She called us all kinds of names, racial slurs and told us we were allowed to be down here. Mind you this is a pubic path. My son started crying and I didnt want to escalate the situation with my son present so we just left. This isnt the first time this has happened but it was the most upsetting time.

7 years going for us, great place to live. All volunteer management effort, organic garden, orchard, and wood shop and more all on site. Like a farmers market all year long. Tons of events and creative holiday gatherings.

Wow just crazy what they allow their. The older residents are just horrible people! If your a minority or low income don’t even think of walking past their property or be prepared to be stared down and yelled racial slurs at! I think it’s name is Anna, its very intimidating, and loves to yell and video tape at all the brown and black kids that just walk down on the PUBLIC path. The mangers of that community don’t seem to care at all as they continue to let everyone that lives around that community be harassed and threatened even though multiple people have called and complained! Sick of this.

This housing establishment allows some of their residents to harass and belittle many people mainly young children of HISPANIC and AFRICAN AMERICAN origins. These confrontations happen in and around Oak Creek Commons area. People are met with threats of "I'm calling the police" and racial slurs many which have been captured on video. Multiple calls have been made to the office of Oak Creek Commons with no response from administration. You fail to realize that all the homes that boarder the green belt area were contacted in person by the developers of that subdivision (Oak Creek Commons). We were all asked to please not appeal their development of the property. At the time we were told that nothing would change and our children would always have access to the greenbelt trail, dog run area. pool and any of the facilities at Oak Creek Commons. ALL FALSE promises to get this subdivision built. All people are asking for is not to be harassed by your residents that's it. PLEASE ADDRESS YOUR RESIDENTS! MANY OF THESES PEOPLE HAVE LIVED IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD 30+ YEARS, LONG BEFORE THESE HOMES WERE BUILT AND THESE HOMES WERE PURCHASED BY YOUR RESIDENTS.
