Nova 42 Academy

I credit Nova42 with jump starting our son Mark's debate career in San Marino schools (commencing in middle school), teaching him critical speaking, writing and analytical thinking skills. Mark is now at UC Berkeley. Thank you.

Don't waste your time and money sending your kid to Nova42. We attended their program online for 4 sessions - Spring, Summer, Fall 2021 and Spring 2022. For Summer 2022, we started in-person class. Not sure what happened, ever since the session started, generic long emails (1-2 pages) about the rules on when to pick up, when to drop-off etc. My kid missed doing his home work for one class, then started emails and phone calls about being on Probation and hard deadlines which were never communicated at the time of sign-up. Have to complete their work and upload a video in YouTube by certain HARD DEADLINE. You can only imagine, asking 11yr old to prepare for speech to take a video and upload. Their last minute communication and impose their rules is a hassle and huge pressure on kids. We are glad my kid is out of Nova42.

Coach Mike and his team were very insightful of their program.  They have passion and care for kids learning.
