I had a case with them, the worker was Ruby Huerta i believe was her last name. After my boys told me their dad was drinking while driving with them in the car, in good faith I called. Mind you the drinking and abuse was the reason I had a Restraining order on their father. What happens next? Yes, he plays the victim and tells a story that makes me look bad and she believes it. Total Bias. Instead of going through therapy notes and truly investigating. She turns it on me. How insane is this! My oldest was traumatized by this man and my little one so manipulated, it worries me that social workers like her are not equipped to spot the abuse. She shows up at my house to tell my kids not to worry they will see their father, and my oldest cries and yells while running to our closet. How stupid and unprofessional can she be?! Nonetheless, BLIND!! But dont try to go above them because they will team up on you and always take each others side. Years later guess what? He is still drinking and scared the kids so much they decided to not go anymore. She could've saved them from all that trauma if she only investigated and wasn't a bias ignorant person who lacks common sense. I was desperate for them to listen but I had to sit back and allow my boys to endure more of the abuse this agency enabled. SHAME ON THEM. Not just the worker but supervisor I tried talked to about this. Do better
