Avoid this company and the owner, Mitch Halpern at all costs. He is very nice and friendly in the beginning. However, once you sign off and enter a contract with him, that facade disappears. My partner and I dealt with Mitch for about a year as tenants. He is the worst landlord we have ever had in our lives. Anytime you ask him to repair things on the property, or bring up that he is not fulfilling obligations under the lease, he tries to manipulate you into feeling guilty because he paid $XXX already to fix up the house and make it nice. He grossly inflates the costs of any repairs and improvements and uses those inflated costs to make you feel guilty for ANY feedback and requests you have for the property. He consistently hires cheap unprofessional contractors that take forever to get anything done and do shoddy, low quality work. He will lie as much as he can to save a penny and make you feel so exhausted and gaslit that you dont even want to assert your rights anymore. Hes extremely difficult to reach and makes excuses for everything. Due to his deceptive and cheap nature, we became worried that he was hiding safety hazards and serious issues about the house. Do not be fooled by his sweet old man schtick. We were lucky to just be rental tenants. If youre considering buying property through him, DO NOT. Read the other reviews. Im honestly shocked hes still allowed to have a license.
