William Carey International University is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (recognized by the US Department of Education). It currently offers two MA Level programs - A MA in Transformational Urban Leadership and a MA in Development Studies. The approach is to train women and men serving among communities in need so that they find solutions to the roots of human problems around the world. I continue to be attracted by the relevance of its training programs.

This was taken at Graduation Day at WCIU 2019 where we met studied in early eighties. Great place to study in an international Christian environment. My critical views of Christianity was put to shame. 5 Years later we got married in Sweden

William Carey International University, an unaccredited "university" in Pasadena CA, is a front for Mission Frontiers and the United States Center for World Mission. Its main purpose is to provide cover stories for Christian missionaries to "closed" (usually Muslim) countries.
Just FYI.
WCIU should NOT be confused with William Carey University, a Baptist-affiliated school in Hattiesburg MS.
Update: Since posting of the original review 3 years ago, WCIU has received accreditation from the Distance Education Accreditation Commission (DEAC).
