I was nervous about all the negative Yelp reviews but decided to reach out for a tour to find out for myself. This was the director's response: "Pacific Oaks is not offering tours at this time. We have several hundred applicants and cannot accommodate everyone."Literally every other preschool I have contacted (about a dozen) offers tours, either virtual or in-person. Just wanted to let other parents know that this school will not give you a tour and expect you to pay $100 to apply, sight unseen.

They never respond. They don't pick up phone calls. No reply to emails. What happened to them during the pandemic?

I registered on their site, paid for admission. Got an email from them from them:----------------------------------------------------------------------------How old is your daughter?Great news! Pacific Oaks Children's School is opening an afternoon half-day class for children ages 3 to 5. It will be limited to 12 children. Might you and your family be interested?Fall 2021 TermSeptember 7 to December 14Monday to Friday, 1:15 to 4:00pm$4725Pacific Oaks Children's School----------------------------------------------------------------------------I replied them with my questions, sent them twice, no reply in 3 months. No phone contact. No email reply. No signature on email.  They want to auction their seat like selling wine. I just don't think they care a thing about parents or kids since that's the culture I'm getting. They would ignore you if they know you cannot fill their seats. Shame on you.

This school does not value any kind of diversity, which is only surprising because they talk about diversity NONSTOP during their tour. I applied and was treated very disrespectfully. When I called them out, they lied about everything being related to Covid, which it was not, since this happened in January, far before any shut downs. I don't write a review like this lightly. Racial & economic bias are front and center in their admissions process. Shame on them!
