What's a Presbyterian? Oh, that's a Baptist who's learned to read.

There are many things I value about this church -- some of the most significant would be the intergenerational community, inspiring worship services, and commitment to social justice. This church community seeks to embody Jesus's love toward others through a variety of service activities and justice teams. It is a fellowship of people who want to think deeply and honestly about what it means to follow Christ. Knox has an amazing staff who are caring and committed, providing support and educational opportunities to all ages, from the youngest members to the oldest.

The first Sunday I visited Knox, I was so happy to hear announcements about upcoming church events related to environmental sustainability and immigration justice. The pastor also sprinkled the sermon with poetry and photos of art. All of this made me feel like Knox would be a church filled with people who are engaged with the world, curious and always learning. Ive been attending now for about four years and its been a blessing to find such a warm and welcoming community.

Knox has been my church home for five years, and my appreciation for the community has just grown over time. The sermons are fantastic, the people are warm and welcoming, people of all ages attend (children through retirees), worship is a rich blend of traditional and contemporary liturgy, the community has rich connections with the Fuller Theological Seminary and Caltech communities (great for me as an intellectual), it has a deep commitment to justice work, and the community is welcoming and inclusive for all, including members of the LGBTQ+ community. I can't say enough about this wonderful church. I finally found my forever-church.

We have been members of this great little church for almost 15 years. The staff has been consistently great during our tenure at Knox. The senior pastor is a humble, intelligent and caring person who is deeply committed to his faith and his congregation. The youth pastor is a deep thinker who cares so much about our teenagers, and the childrens director is enthusiastic and amazing with the younger kids. The worship services are always meaningfulsolid sermons and wonderful music. The church is committed to social justice and has many opportunities to serve the community. There are many small group options and ways to get connected, as well as fun social events. The intergenerational community is welcoming and friendly. If youre looking for a church home, check out Knox!
