I love Agnes! I have been here many, many times and will be back! Leave your cheap lets itemize the check, I only ordered the salad, friends at home. This is the kind of place you want to come with people who appreciate good food and want to share. I highly recommend over-ordering so you can try as much of the menu as possible! Definitely kick things off with their half and half cheese / charcuterie board! They do a beautiful job with these pairings. I also recommend adding the marinated olives! (So freaking good). Their chicken dishes are always amazing. And y'all, let me tell you, the steak and pork chop!!!!! Yes please - so marbled, so rich, so good! You gotta try the loaded potato dumplings. Their cornbread eclair is to die for. And trust me when I say it is worth ordering the entire dessert menu. Don't worry about being indulgent, just do it! I know the menu changes but if they have the scallops, absolutely get them! And I usually let the server help me select a salad based on what I am ordering. The one critique I will give is that I have had more than one server here try and tell me I am ordering "a lot" lol, hush! But really, the staff has always been great here. Last, I highly recommend splurging on snacks on the way out! I have never regretted having a little stash of their chocolate bars at home!

Agnes Restaurant & Cheesery It was not yet noon. I finished mailing documents at the El Monte post office and wanted to find a place to eat. The restaurants in Old Town are completely different from what they used to be. I didnt know any of them, but I happened to see Agnes Restaurant & Cheesery, a cheese specialty store with bright and clean windows. It was small and elegant. It seemed that it also had a restaurant. When I walked in, I saw a variety of cheese and red wine. Immediately I intuitively chose Primento cheese omelette and cappuccino. After a while, the dishes were all served. They were also small and elegant, which is unimaginable in Los Angeles, which is famous for its big wins. Primento cheese omelette is a refreshing salad next to a yellow egg roll.
