    If you like deceptive and/or predatory contract and billing practices, defective equipment, compromised packaging and unsanitary shipping (I found empty gum wrappers in more than one order), youre going to love the SLEEPMED. If you enjoy dealing with petulant and petty children, youll be thrilled with their Pasadena, CA. office of representatives and customer service. This is a seemingly parent-free company where juvenile behavior rules the roost. I particularly liked having my much-needed medical supplies held hostage while I tried to comply with arbitrary rules and stipulations that appeared to change with the moods, tantrums or possibly the medications of their employees. Alas, my friends and I in the vast CPAP community have tired of making sport of their ineptitude and transparent passive-aggressive attempts of appearing adult-like, so I will be moving on. Dealing with SLEEPMED employees is like trying to teach monkeys math. Its amusing and sometimes hilarious but, in the end, its a futile lesson of communication with lower primates. I bid thee farewell, SLEEPMED and sleep tight. Just remember, there's few things in this world that cannot be fixed by a nap with one's favorite blanket and binky. And never forget--You're All Winners!

    I was having some problems with the humidifier on my CPAP machine the water was not being released to the mask. I called Medicare who recommended Sleepmed. I made an appointment with SleepMed took my CPAP machine in I told them I was going on vacation at the end of the month for a few days. SleepMed said they will get back with me in a couple of days after they checked with my doctor. I called back a week later spoke to the office manager she said there was nothing the matter with the machine. How do you know that you didnt run any test. The manager said that is what you told us. I called Medicare I referred to another vendor who gave me a loaner to try for a few days. I returned after four days with the loaner which was a new machine. The vendor had set all the settings gave me all the accessories that were due. The new vendor is an authorized dealer for ResMed and has a full show room of CPAC machines and accessories.

    This is a horrible company. Avoid them at all costs if you can! I will start by saying I have no issues with their supply staff in my local (Pasadena, CA) office. But do not EVER allow them to send you CPAP or BPAP supplies by mail. They will encourage you to do this and will tell you it is necessary or required when it is not. This will give them a vehicle to bill you and your insurance company for unneeded supplies that you can purchase yourself online on an as needed basis. They billed me for almost $400.00 for supplies (hosing, plastic masks, ...yes at huge mark-ups) that were sent to an address which was vacated and under construction. Now they have sent this bill to a collection agency. All of this for supplies, I never wanted, ordered, or used. The home office in GA does not answer calls and will leave you waiting on the line. They also will not resolve these issues. So do yourself a huge favor and avoid this company if you can!

    Poor customer service. Called to get the results of my study 1 week after returning the machine as Id been told results would take a week to come in. Now being told maybe 2 weeks. Pushed for a worst case time so that I could get an appointment booked with the very busy referring Dr and was told that Id been given that info (which turned out to be we dont know) they then tried to get rid of me with an okay bye. This wasnt the case as Id not previously asked for a worst case date. Meanwhile, Im still waking up choaking in the middle of the night. Regretting my choices on this one.
