The staff and care is excellent, and the facility looks and feels like a day spa, but my mammogram took over a month to be read and have results forwarded to my doctor and me. That is too long. This must be addressed.

I highly recommend Jim and Eleanor Breast Center. The staff are attentive and kind and the practice is cosy and welcoming. The exam itself is thorough and very professional.

I just had the most unacceptable experience. After my mammogram, they texted me and emailed me to let me know I needed to contact them as they had some concerns on the results. Needless to say this is a pretty stressful message to receive. I called back immediately and at that point I was told that there was something detected on my left breast and that I needed another mammogram plus an ultrasound. I asked when could that happen and the response I received was mind blowing: They were giving me an appointment for 3 months later! After receiving a message telling you that your left breast needs to be further examined, being given an option to do so 3 months after seemed unimaginable. So you just dropped a bomb and now expect me to wait three months to figure out if I am in danger or not, if I need treatment or not. Unbelievable. If your mission/role is to detect, once you have suspicion of an issue, your responsibility is to make sure that your patients are safe or cared for asap. The fact that they do not make any plan in their schedule to be able to address patients with issues defeates their purpose. So, theyll tell you if there is something wrong with your mammogram but then leave you hanging with the uncertainty, the stress and potentially a serious condition that will progress for three months. Get tested somewhere else, where if you are at risk they will make room for further testing immediately.
