It seems like the previous reviewers from 5-8 years ago are not describing the office I've worked with on Lake in Pasadena.My first advisor was Curtis, who was exceptional in handling my 401K rollovers. My current advisor is Stephanie, and I've seen nothing but growth on my return and a long, loyal customer experience. Highly recommend, 5-star talent and best investment options.

John Willits at this company had managed my mother's money for years... after she passed we found out how much they lost on very, very risky investments.  They always called when one of their long-shots paid off, but did not call on the days an investment fell 60%.  On the phone they love to talk about the projected income for the year... but don't mention how they lost last year.  She had a 100% portfolio turnover rate, and they made 1 to 2% on each buy and sell.  That's a 3 or 4% management fee for such mediocre service.  I suggest getting some indexed funds in a self directed brokerage account and avoid this place.

If I could give negative stars, I would.  Simply the worst.  They charge fees for doing absolutely nothing.  Despite promises to return the funds, nothing has happened, and I've now been told by my assigned broker, that because he doesn't like my tone of voice, he won't refund the charges. That's it, he's happy to go back on his word because he doesn't think I should call him to ask for my money. But that's not all there is to this mess of  brokerage firm.  I spent at least three hours on the phone, most of it on hold, while their IT department tried to figure out why my brokerage account was assigned to someone else's online account! After way too much time on the phone, my account was sorted out, but, come on, really??? And once you get on their website, you find the fun continues...one of the worst sites ever, once you navigate to another page, the site logs you out and you have to start signing their use agreement pages all over again.  I needed to go through the same routine three times!  Can't wait to close out and move on.  Do yourself a favor and put your money elsewhere.  Avoid these jokers.NB-After speaking with my broker's boss, WF will refund the fees as promised, so at least one person there stands by their word.  That's a good thing, but still, what an ordeal!One more add on...no, they never did refund my money, and further to that, they charged me $75 to transfer my account to another firm.  These guys do not stand by their word, and seem to exist to extract fees.  Do yourself a favor and find a better brokerage firm.
