My son got his first haircut with Mike ! He asked me to give him a 100 star review ( had to break it to him that 5 is the highest ) so that's to say he really loves his new hair ! He had long curly hair past his shoulders and now is rocking a beautiful clean short hair cut ! He's so happy with it and his experience there

I met Mike when he was at another salon before he opened up The Greater Good; and his skill and care are really above and beyond. Like the name implies, the vibes at TGG are very inclusive, artsy, and welcoming. And just talking with Mike as he works his magic is a pleasure; he's an amazing person with a lot of f'ing heart.Mike ALWAYS leaves me feeling so fresh and so clean-clean and with a bomb AF cut.Truly a gem. Mike (the owner) gives a precise cut and has a talent for giving blonde highlights that read modern and elegant (no dated streaks or chunky bands here, thank you).  I was in and out in 2 hrs for a full head of highlights, cut, toner and blow dry. Aside from my satisfaction with the final product, I enjoyed my time in the salon - it's got a great aesthetic, Mike is fun and interesting to talk to, and the alt rock playlist was my jam (Fiona, Killers, Vampire Wkd, etc.) if you're going to spend a couple hours captive in a chair, these things make it a good time! Scheduling and communicating with Mike is easy (text is my preferred mode) and he has evening hours during the week. I easily found street parking out front but there is a lot in the back if you need it.
