Dr. Niloufar A. Molayem, DDS

For some reason, there have been several instances when Dr. Molayem simply didn't show up for my bi-annual routine exam while still billing my insurance for a complete check-up. This has happened to my spouse in her office as well. We get our cleaning, get our x-rays and are then told the doctor is not in the office, will review the x-rays at her convenience and get in contact if there are any problems. Reviewing the x-rays (if she actually does it) is only a fraction of the complete exam. She should be checking the surface of our teeth (grinding, for instance, was always mentioned in an attempt to sell me an insanely expensive night guard); gums as well as checking the overall health of your mouth. This office has questionable billing and sales practices. I'd avoid them - or at least be sure the dentist actually shows up for your exam.

I had an amazing experience at this office. The staff made me feel comfortable from the minute I walked in. Dr. Molayem is very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend them.

My review must have gotten deleted but Im going to update it since I want people to know about my experience from here. Ive been here twice and havent returned. The Dr is nice but doesnt care about letting you know anything. She barely spoke a word to me and didnt explain beyond the questions I had to ask. Deep cleaning: THE most painful deep cleaning Ive ever had. Left my gums numb, sore, painful, and of course, bleeding. I understand its deep cleaning but being a bit more gentle would have nice so that Im not experiencing discomfort for a week afterwards. The admin staff is what makes it or break it. My experience was FAR from what you would call pleasant. I was done with my appt and there was only one staff there. Apparently she claimed that another staff was off site looking at their new location. I sat down and waited for the one staff to be off her phone call for what was 30 MINUTES. I waited that long to just pay and leave. This older lady sat down for what was literally 5 minutes before she stood up and exclaimed that she just wants to check out and leave. The staff proceeds to check her and help her BEFORE me!!! I was quite honesty angry because 1.) the staff knew very well that I was waiting to check out since the lobby is so small you know whats going on 2.) I was waiting first and she helped out an older lady just because she spoke out. So I did what anyone would do, I stood up and was about to speak out but then she cut me off and stated Ill help you out when Im done. As if I were a gosh dang kid. So I waited and waited for another half hour before I noped out of there. The unprofessionalism left me angry and dissatisfied. Even a place like Walmart knows to help out customers who are in line first- but I guess being older or speaking out will get you the help and service you need here, if thats what youre looking for. I wouldnt minded waiting if she helped people in turn but due to that biased incident, I will never return and never recommend this dental office/staff/doctor. Tl:dr: Dr is okay. Staff lady is beyond rude and incompetent. Never returning!
